Why train with me?
I have been where you are, contemplating whether to join a gym, apprehensive about stepping foot in there and not knowing where to begin and just going through the motions and not seeing any results.
Starting your fitness journey can be daunting but, the rewards are worth it.
I promote a healthy lifestyle change with both your exercise and nutrition which is realistic and sustainable.
Together we will set realistic and achievable short and long term goals which are specific to you and what you want to achieve.
Whether your goals are based around weight management, wanting to increase lean muscle mass or strength or you’re training for a specific sport or event, I will provide you with a tailored training programme specific to your goals.
I will motivate and encourage you along the way and help you build your confidence and increase your own ability.

How does it work?

You will have an initial and regular health and fitness screening which will help us set your goals.
These will provide the basis of your goals and help set targets such as reducing body fat percentage by a set amount, increasing lean muscle mass or improving your one rep max for a certain exercise.

Techniques will be taught from the ground up and we will start with the basics depending on your previous experience, but there will be progression.
We will use a variety of training methods and the sessions will be enjoyable, challenging and rewarding.
This will run alongside a nutrition guide specific to your goals.
You will walk out the gym with a sense of achievement and we will smash your targets.

Do you help with food?

Nutrition is a big part of achieving your goals. However, I am not about quick fix and fad ‘diets’.
It is about a sustainable and realistic lifestyle change and each persons nutritional needs and goals will vary.
Its about maintaining a healthy balanced diet and some little changes here and there can make a big difference.
I can provide nutrition guides based around your individual macros.
I will give you hints and tips around food prep and recipes that are not only healthy but taste great too.

What will we do
Together we will set goals which will be short and long term but will also be realistic and achievable.
Our sessions will be tailored to your specific goals.
They will be varied, fun and challenging and will involve free weights, kettle bells, resistance machines, body weight exercises, circuit training, other functional training methods and compound movements.
There will be some cardiovascular machine training but depending on what your goals and needs are will determine the type of training we do.
No session will be the same and you will pushed and you will be challenged with a focus on progression. But you will have me supporting and guiding you each step of the way.
