About me
I’ve been a Self-Employed Personal Trainer here for over 17 years now and in the industry for 20. I feel like a part of the furniture here but definitely not quite antique yet! I have seen a lot of changes over the years and have worked with a variety of different clients all with there own aims and aspirations from weight loss, to body shape change, sport specific and health goals.
I come from a very sports specific background, I played National League Rugby Union and represented Saracens at A League level. I have a very keen interest in all major sports and in particular tennis which my children all play with the older 2 currently at Herts County Team Level. I have trained and still train both for cardiovascular fitness with Interval Training and body physique and size through resistance and weight training. More recently I have competed in Muddy Runs such as Rat Race Dirty Weekend and Wolf Runs etc with more emphasis on endurance and strength endurance training. I therefore feel very qualified with hands on experience to advise, push and motivate my clients towards there health and fitness targets.
Training with me will be hard, client centered, rewarding and dare I say FUN!

Specialist areas

  • Cardiovascular Training through HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), this wil increase your fitness, maximise your time and burn fat.
  • Body shaping, toning and strength resistance training incorporating the latest techniques involving cable machines, free weights and free motion exercises.
  • Experienced in sports specific training for games and individual events for example rugby and tennis training and marathon preperation.
  • I have also worked with special populations such as pre and post natal, older adults and toddlers within children specific activity classes.
